Burn-out

“Burn-out” is a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed. It is characterized by three dimensions:

  • feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion;
  • increased mental distance from one’s job, or feelings of negativism or cynicism related to one’s job; and
  • reduced professional efficacy.

I will work with you on any business or work life balance related stress, and help you identify and make the changes that are within your control to make, that will help you become calmer, more in control, and happier again.

While focussing on eliminating your stress, through your coaching you wil be learning things and making changes that will improve your performance and success in all kinds of areas of your life and work.

All the coaching programmes I run (Work -Life Balance, Stress & Burn-out, Working Moms, Business & Entrepreneurship, etc.) are designed to fit each individual client, to make sure they are appropriate for your specific needs and situation. Your coaching programme will therefore be unique to you, and is not a one-size-fits-all solution.

Working with me you will:
  • Better understand what is causing your stress, unearthing and tackling the root causes – not just the symptoms changes to your work life balance so you feel happier and less stressed.
  • Make and implement decisions or action plans that will remove or reduce the impact of the stressors in your life.
  • Learn techniques to manage and reduce stress both in the long term and “in the moment” to improve your performance at times of high pressure.
  • Develop strategies to help you relax, set boundaries and allow you to enjoy yourself more.
  • Make changes to the unhelpful habits, behaviours, thinking patterns or beliefs that are responsible for enabling your stress– so that it no longer has the ability to survive.
  • Increase your optimism and ability to stay positive;
