Today, I want to exchange with you about Life balance.

In today’s fast-paced and excited world, finding balance and harmony in our lives can often feel like an impossible task. We are constantly running multiple responsibilities, trying to meet the demands of work, family, and personal commitments. But it is crucial to remember that finding balance is not a luxury, but a necessity for our overall well-being and fulfilment.

By prioritising our own needs and respecting our limits, we can maintain a healthy work-life balance and avoid stress, anxiety and burn-out.


My coachees often ask me, Alba what is life balance to you? And I simply answer:

“Well, for me, life balance is feeling happy, confident, empowered and fulfilled in all areas of my life! Being able to enjoy life unconditionally and knowing when saying no or stop.”

For a very long time my life was unbalanced, my work was taking all the space in my life and I missed important personal things. Fortunately for me, I became aware of this negative tendency… and changed it!

Remember, life balance is different for everyone!

First, reflect on what is balance to you? What is your own definition of life balance?

Then, on a scale of 1 to 5, HOW SATISFIED OR DISSATISFIED ARE YOU WITH YOUR LIFE?

Now, it is time to have a look at your preliminary results:

– WHAT AREAS OF YOUR LIFE DO YOU FEEL YOU NEED/WANT TO CHANGE?

– WHY DO YOU NEED/WANT TO CHANGE?

I encourage you to dive deep into your own experiences and reflect on what areas of your life may be out of balance. Identifying these areas is the first step towards finding harmony.

Here are five effective strategies that can help you navigate the demands of daily life while prioritising your well-being:

  1. Make time for physical activity.
  2. Practice mindfulness meditation.
  3. Prioritise self-care.
  4. Establish boundaries.
  5. Create a schedule:
